"Seven Magnificent" will seek Zvizdić's removal, Konaković new president?

In the Cantonal Committee of SDA Sarajevo, deep divisions have been present for years, which began to culminate after the elections and are reaching their peak these days, especially after last night's session of the Party Presidency definitively confirmed that the candidate for mandate holder is the president of the Cantonal Committee, Denis Zvizdić, writes the news agency Patria.

A majority of the Cantonal Committee members, including seven cantonal deputies dubbed the "seven magnificent," oppose Zvizdić remaining in the position of president.

Zvizdić has long lacked respect among the Cantonal Committee members, and he caused the most outrage during negotiations with the Democratic Front on forming the government in Sarajevo Canton, as well as through his arrogant behavior, in which he is fully supported by the deputy president of SDA, Bakir Izetbegović.

His arrogant behavior and disregard for the views of the majority of Cantonal Committee members are best demonstrated when selecting people for ministerial positions in the new government, where those who are professionals in their field have no chance, only those loyal and suitable to him.

As Patria learns, an initiative for his removal will soon be launched at a session of the Cantonal Committee Sarajevo, because the majority of members, including the "seven magnificent," believe that Zvizdić should now focus on state affairs, while the politics of the strongest cantonal committee in the country should be led by someone else.

The most frequently mentioned name for the new president of the Cantonal Committee SDA Sarajevo is Dino Konaković.
