Sebastian Vettel increasingly close to returning to Formula 1

(Patria) - German Sebastian Vettel (36) is seriously considering the option of racing in Formula 1 again next year.

According to German media, the four-time world champion himself hinted at the option of returning to the "fastest circus".

- Nothing has been signed or decided yet, but I have it in mind. I still have time to decide.

If at some point I conclude that it won't work without racing, then I will race again - said the driver who won four F1 titles for Red Bull, and then raced for Ferrari for many years.

The German said he doesn't want to talk much publicly about a potential return until he makes a definitive decision, as it would be hypocritical towards the current stars.

- I stopped racing for many reasons. I enjoy being at home with my family. There are other things that concern me now, but they also make me optimistic when I see what other people are preparing, how they dedicate their time and lives to a certain purpose.

At this moment, one "bubble" is shrinking, and many doors are opening. Perhaps at some point it would be good to think about returning to that "bubble" - said Vettel.

During his career, he won 53 races and was on the podium 122 times, and besides four titles, he was runner-up in the Formula 1 championship three times.
