SDP Calls Citizens to the Anti-Fascist March in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At the session of the Presidency of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina was discussed, which the party assessed as devastating due to the poor economic situation, as well as the blockade of Bosnia and Herzegovina's European and NATO path.

From the SDP, they stated after the session that the situation in the country is devastating, even though the authorities are trying to present the situation in BiH as positive.

“The Presidency praised all SDP BiH representatives who initiated amendments to laws and submitted initiatives, confirming that serious parliamentary work does not require sharing seats with the ruling ethnonational caste, which, precisely during the formation of the executive government, showed its true exploitative and self-interested side. The consequence of this is six months without new convocations of the Council of Ministers and the Federal Government,” they stated from the SDP.

The SDP condemned the move by Fadil Novalić and the government in technical mandate, which, according to the SDP, “decided to take revenge on the citizens of Sarajevo due to the election result in which the SDA did not get the opportunity to become part of the government, which is why they announced a gas price increase.” The initiative of SDP representatives in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to repeal this decision was supported.

At the session, preparations were presented for the session of the Main Board of the SDP BiH, which will be held on May 11 in Jablanica, as well as preparations for the sixth regular Congress of the SDP.

The Presidency of the SDP BiH called on all citizens of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina to attend tomorrow's Anti-Fascist March in Sarajevo, on the occasion of May 9, which is organized in cooperation with Our Party.
