SDP: Proposed "coordination mechanism" is a prelude to the disintegration of BiH

The so-called coordination mechanism drafted by the top leadership of HDZ and SNSD, and accepted by SDA, is a prelude to the reconstruction of Bosnia and Herzegovina according to the wishes of Dragan Čović and Milorad Dodik, the SDP announced.

The political naivety of SDA and their desire to remain in power have reached their peak with its approval, which will ultimately create a system where every canton can block the European path, and which is nothing more than the creation of HDZ's third entity.

The inclusion of cantons and entities as equals in this process of BiH institutions represents the dismantling and weakening of BiH and further slowing down of the European path, as well as a prelude to constitutional changes.

Instead of a coordination mechanism, the current authorities are offering us a mechanism of disintegration and blackmail of the state, through which cantons will blackmail others, thereby challenging any possibility of agreement from the outset.

It is now completely clear that SNSD, HDZ, and SDA were waiting for the Social Democratic Party of BiH to no longer be in power, in order to reintroduce a proposal that we never wanted to accept while we were in the Council of Ministers and the FBiH Government.

The hypocrisy of the representatives of the international community is also evident in this process, as they previously strongly opposed such a model, and now by accepting it, they are supporting divisions within the country and further disintegration.

We call on the executive authorities at all levels, and especially the BiH Council of Ministers, not to allow the evident violation of the BiH Constitution, because foreign policy, which includes negotiations with the EU, is the exclusive competence of the state.

SDP BiH, together with all those who wish well for Bosnia and Herzegovina, will do everything to prevent them from blocking and dismantling our homeland.
