SDP on the analysis: Everyone talks about something, SDA talks about honesty and Sarajlić speaks again

(Patria) - Regarding the press conference where Asim Sarajlić criticized the work of the new cantonal authorities, we first of all want to thank the SDA for, despite a large number of honorable members, choosing precisely Sarajlić, against whom an indictment has been filed for the most serious criminal offenses, to speak about the activities of the new authorities, the SDP stated in a press release.

"People like him are the best illustration of what was and what the SDA would like to see return. Widespread crime, arrogant and thuggish behavior, siphoning money from public companies, scandals of the highest magnitude...

If there were a rule of law and an independent judiciary, Sarajlić would not have the opportunity to address the public at all, nor would he hold any position. The best illustration of how unregulated a country we live in is this case, where he takes it upon himself to give anyone any lessons, especially moral ones. The SDP welcomes the activities of the Government of the Sarajevo Canton and the quality cooperation of the six parties that make up the coalition, which is successfully dealing with all the challenges and problems arising from the twenty-year rule of the SDA. We call for this partnership to continue on the principles of transparency and exclusively in the interest of the citizens of the Sarajevo Canton.

Also, we call on all newly appointed officials and managements of public companies to speak transparently and without fear about what they found in their departments and to forward to the prosecutor's offices all information that could lead to the prosecution of those responsible for the devastation of the Sarajevo Canton," the SDP stated.

The Cantonal Committee of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) analyzed the work of the Government and the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton in the first six months of the mandate. The analysis included strong criticism of the work of the ruling structure in the Sarajevo Canton. The SDA states that the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, in the first six months of work, adopted eight out of 35 laws listed and planned in the Work Program, which represents implementation below 23 percent.
