SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The SDP HNK Cantonal Board calls on the HNK Crisis Staff to strictly adhere to legal powers and to stop issuing illegal orders that cause more harm than good.
"We consider the latest decision on intercity quarantine, which caused more harm than good, to be a hasty and unnecessary solution. The timing and manner of its adoption are particularly concerning, as it was clear that it was absolutely impossible to prepare for its implementation in terms of the necessity of tasks that must be performed. The additional explanation that the Crisis Staff published after the order also confirms that the decision was primarily poorly prepared, and thus confusing for the public," stated the KO SDP HNK in a press release.
The KO SDP HNK calls on the Crisis Staff to revoke its decision and accept the fact that it is unacceptable for systemic inefficiency in controlling a small group of violators to be translated into sanctions for citizens of the entire canton through measures.
"Finally, we call on you to coordinate your activities with the federal staff, especially in decisions concerning farmers, as this is a time when we least need political bickering and throne games, for which citizens will pay the price," the statement reads.
