(Patria) - The state coalition Trojka - SNSD - HDZBiH, by redirecting money from the revenues of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the entities, has introduced an illegal precedent that strengthens the entities and patches entity budget gaps at the expense of the state.
"Instead of directing the record revenue of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina towards strengthening state institutions, equipping the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and building the capacity of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the necessary purchase of election technologies that enable fairer and more transparent elections, or the needs of the chief negotiator with the European Union, the ruling coalition decided to forward these revenues to the entities," states the SDA press release.
It adds: "With such a move, they not only showed that they are not interested in strengthening state institutions and fairer elections, but that in the circumstances we are witnessing, they are ready, by redirecting the money of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to help those responsible for attacks on its constitutional and legal order."
"The decision to redirect funds from the profit of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the entities also represents a precedent that is in direct contradiction with the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Law on Financing Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina," they say from the SDA.
