(Patria) - The tragicomic statement by Nihad Uk that the "air is improving drastically" nominates the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton for a role in a comedy reality show, with a high probability that he would do better in a sketch than at the head of the government of the richest canton in the country and the most polluted city in the world, according to a statement from SDA Sarajevo.

"Nihad Uk comes from Our Party, which once advocated for urgent measures, boycotting classes, and civil disobedience due to increased pollution. Reducing air pollution was at the top of the priorities of the infamous "Work Program" of Forto's Government, which declared itself "the best ever". The "Trojka" (coalition) boasted about establishing a Center for Air Quality Management within the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection," SDA Sarajevo stated.

They conclude: "That Center was never established, and the relevant minister, who is Uk's party colleague, had his detention extended. Previously, the former Prime Minister and current president of Our Party, Edin Forto, abolished the subsidy for gas heating in Sarajevo Canton. Thus ended the fight for pollution reduction, which Our Party unsuccessfully waged. Since he doesn't know how to solve the problem, implement effective measures, and manage the crisis, Nihad Uk should know how to keep quiet instead of mocking the citizens of Sarajevo with thoughtless statements."
