SDA Cancels All Rallies: Expresses Deepest Condolences to Families of Deceased Citizens

(Patria) - The Party of Democratic Action is suspending all previously planned pre-election activities and canceling scheduled rallies due to the catastrophic floods that hit parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina last night.

We call on all municipal and city organizations of the SDA to redirect funds intended for organizing rallies to aid flood-affected areas, and on SDA members, activists, and supporters to contribute to saving human lives and property.

We express our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased citizens.

We demand that competent authorities urgently direct all available resources to saving the lives and property of citizens and to mitigating the consequences of the floods.

The SDA Municipal Board of Novi Grad also issued a statement, suspending all pre-election activities and placing itself at the full disposal of the competent services for the protection and rescue of people and material goods.

"In these difficult moments, we believe it is most important to focus on preserving human lives and to provide all necessary support to those who have lost their homes and security," stated the SDA Municipal Board of Novi Grad.

Candidates from the list for the Novi Grad Municipal Council will also collect financial aid, which they will donate as assistance to those affected by these floods.
