(Patria) - Milorad Dodik made sure to immediately confirm in practice the words spoken yesterday in the Assembly by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who, speaking about Serbs, stated that they are "a people who do not believe in and do not love reality and truth", the SDA announced.
Dodik not only dislikes truth and reality, the statement reads, but is also prone to uttering obvious lies, such as "SDA stood behind war crimes".
"It is pointless to respond to Dodik's lies about SDA and the late Alija Izetbegović and his speculations in the style of 'what if'. His statements cannot change historical facts and the verdicts of the Hague Tribunal, which convicted Radovan Karadžić, Ratko Mladić, Biljana Plavšić, Momčilo Krajišnik and others for genocide and war crimes.
Also, with no accusations can Dodik divert focus from the fact that it was precisely he who awarded decorations to those war criminals and named a student dormitory after Radovan Karadžić. This speaks more than anything about who stands behind war crimes and war criminals. The civilized world recognizes this, and no relativization helps", the SDA stated.
Likewise, repeating untruths that "SDA is pursuing a policy against RS and the Serb people as a whole" will not help Dodik either, this party further emphasizes.
"SDA's policy is clear: the protection of the interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a state of equal peoples and citizens on every inch of its territory. The only one currently pursuing a policy that harms RS and the Serb people as a whole is Milorad Dodik himself. It is time for the impoverished people in RS to realize this as well, the SDA statement added.
