(Patria) - The Toronto Raptors have agreed to a two-year deal with Dennis Schröder, the former point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The German will receive $26 million during his stay with the Canadian franchise.
Schröder comes as a replacement for Fred Vanvleet, whom Toronto failed to retain.
Vanvleet is moving to Texas after signing a maximum three-year contract with the Houston Rockets worth $128.5 million.
The Raptors have also secured the stay of Austrian center Jakob Poeltl. News also broke that Bruce Brown has agreed to a two-year deal with the Indiana Pacers worth $45 million.
The talented forward won the NBA championship last season with the Denver Nuggets.
