Schmidt with Čović: A functional Parliament and all other institutions are needed

(Patria) - High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt met today in the building of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH with the Chairman of the House of Peoples of BiH and President of HDZ BiH Dragan Čović.

They discussed the most current political and socio-economic issues in the country, including the functionality of the state, as well as issues related to strengthening the reconciliation process in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“We need a functional Parliament and all other institutions so that Bosnia and Herzegovina can make decisions and manage processes to give the country the opportunity to fulfill its accession obligations and harness the potential of the Growth Plan. Missing this opportunity would be a major failure of citizens' trust,” said High Representative Schmidt, as announced by the OHR.
