(Patria) - High Representative Christian Schmidt and Mayor of Sarajevo Samir Avdić will officially unveil the "Dayton Peace Square" plaque today, in front of the Office of the High Representative building, paying tribute to the Peace Agreement that ended the war and laid the foundations for the institutional development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This symbolic act serves as a reminder of the enduring commitment to preserving peace, respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as continuing reforms aimed at the country's European future, the OHR statement said.
Interestingly, the OHR and the City of Sarajevo do not want journalists at this event, as access will only be granted to cameramen and photographers.
