The SDA Collegium session concluded shortly after 7:30 PM tonight in the BiH Presidency building, discussing, among other things, the situation in the Federation of BiH, specifically the establishment of a parliamentary majority which has been absent for some time, reports a reporter from the Patria News Agency.
SDA President Bakir Izetbegović stated after the Collegium that he will hold separate meetings with the presidents of SBB and DF, Fahrudin Radončić and Željko Komšić, within the next 10 days, and that one of these two parties will be a partner in the SDA-HDZ BiH-SBIH-A-Sda coalition.
"Through some mutual friends, we have almost arranged these meetings, and after that, we will know where we stand," Izetbegović said.
When asked why he thinks there might be a change in DF, given that there are currently no signals that this party might return to the coalition from which it withdrew due to the controversial Decree of the FBiH Government, Izetbegović said:
"I will meet with Komšić to finally clarify whether they are in power or in opposition. Our conversation will proceed in that direction, and then we will see."
He added that there is no option for both parties, SBB and DF, to become part of the government in the FBiH.
Regarding the reconstruction of the Council of Ministers of BiH in case SBB joins the government, the SDA president emphasized that a reconstruction that would involve the exclusion of the Alliance for Changes is out of the question, and only some cosmetic changes are possible.
Also, when asked who is preferred, SBB or DF, he said that he knows, but he doesn't have to say.
