SBB and Radončić firmly stand by the position that a coalition with SDA is an unambiguous choice

At the session of the SBB Presidency held today (02/01/2016), a series of conclusions were adopted, and the SBB Presidency thanked concerned citizens, members, and intellectuals and legal experts for their support and conviction in the innocence of President Fahrudin Radončić and other victims of politically motivated arrests, reports the Patria News Agency.

- Given that there are strong extra-legal indications in the entire process, SBB sincerely hopes that the Prosecutor's Office and the courts will perform their extremely responsible and socially honorable duty with high professionalism, efficiency, and ethics, thereby increasing public trust in full legal security and equality of all citizens before the law – stated Mirsad Đonlagić, Vice-President of SBB.

SBB appeals to the HJPC and the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office, as well as SIPA, to identify and prosecute all those who enabled the leader of the largest criminal organization in post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zijad Turković, to be informed in advance about the activities of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

He announced the arrest in a letter sent from KPD Zenica to the President of SBB, which indeed happened a few days later! Such scandalous occurrences indicate internal failures that are destroying the security and prosecutorial system, and it is inconceivable that they occur without sanctions in a country governed by the rule of law.

- SBB assures citizens that isolated cases of nepotistic-political abuses of official authority do not affect the overall trust in institutions and the judicial system. In this regard, it is emphasized that protest gatherings and that type of expression of dissatisfaction are not necessary and are precisely what the forces of chaos desire – added Đonlagić, clarifying that instead of "čamparization", SBB steadfastly advocates for Structural Dialogue and the Europeanization of the BiH judiciary.

Furthermore, SBB stated that, independent of any potential process, SBB and President Radončić firmly stand by the position that a coalition with SDA is an unambiguous choice.

- All other options lead the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bosnia and Herzegovina into a state of great uncertainty, insecurity, and weakening of the necessary economic and Euro-Atlantic momentum, which was strongly established precisely by the very effective coalition of SDA and SBB. Also, due to the overall election results, this coalition has stabilized the Bosniak political factor in a very delicate and important period for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that is an additional reason for its preservation – added Đonlagić.
