Saudis and digital transformation: 'Paper' has become an endemic species in bureaucracy

(Patria) - Federal parliament member Admir Čavalić (SBiH) participated in the Saudi Media Forum in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.

As he stated on social media, the focus of his discussion within the workshops for journalists was on reporting on economic issues, i.e., economic policy - how to explain complex economic issues in simple terms (and resist the challenges of populism).

"When it comes to the event itself - I must note that Saudi Arabia has become relatively digitalized - so much so that 'paper' in bureaucracy has become an endemic species.

This is the digital transformation I constantly advocate for as a politician.

However, with us, it all somehow goes loosely, abolish one paper, add a new one, create a platform that is not functional, tape instructions that are several years old, etc.

We must speed everything up because the world is moving forward. There is no waiting," Čavalić said.
