Sattler: Our employee did not have psychological problems, a valuable and responsible person

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Ambassador Johann Sattler commented via Twitter on the multi-hour drama with an infected EU Delegation employee who left the Podhrastovi clinic. After the police located him and attempted to place him back in isolation, it was decided that he would be sent to the EUFOR base in Butmir instead.

During the multi-hour drama surrounding the accommodation of the EU Delegation employee, information emerged that he had psychological issues, which prompted Sattler's reaction.

"I am deeply disturbed by today's events concerning an infected member of our team. This is a valuable and responsible person who did not have psychological problems, and to whom I wish a speedy recovery. We are cooperating with the authorities in taking all necessary steps," Sattler stated.
