Meeting of representatives of SDA, SBB, SBiH and A-SDA: The coalition is stable and we confirmed it today

A meeting of representatives of Bosniak political parties, namely SDA, SBB, SBiH and A-SDA, was held in Sarajevo, reports the Patria news agency.

Bakir Izetbegović, Mirsad Đonlagić, Amer Jerlagić and Nermin Ogrešević met, and as they said after the meeting, the coalition at the level of the Federation of BiH is stable and they are moving towards solving socio-economic problems.

Although the meeting was held today, on the day the indictment against Fahrudin Radončić was raised, Izetbegović said that there is no symbolism in that and that it is just a coincidence, and that the meeting was arranged earlier.

- We discussed how to stabilize the coalition, the situation in BiH, how to accelerate reforms, how to respond to some challenges that are obviously coming, such as the announced referendum, we must have a clear, calming response. We must approach faster construction of infrastructure, connecting Sarajevo with Mostar, Goražde, Tuzla. The coalition is stable and we confirmed it today - Izetbegović pointed out.

Asked to comment on the speed of raising the indictment against Fahrudin Radončić, Izetbegović said it is better that it goes faster.

- We also asked the Court to do its job, but as quickly as possible. I hope the entire process will proceed quickly, so that we have some relief soon - Izetbegović said.

Asked whether the Council of Ministers will work in a truncated composition or whether SBB will propose another name instead of Bakir Dautbašić (candidate for Minister of Transport and Communications) against whom an indictment has been raised, Đonlagić said:

- That is a question to which we will devote due attention. There are some legal obligations, frameworks, deadlines, and we will, in accordance with that, reach a final conclusion on what and how to proceed. There is a possibility of either appointing a new candidate or withdrawing this one, there are various possibilities, but we will soon take a stance on that - Đonlagić said.

Đonlagić said that the truth is most important, and that they expect the truth to be reached as soon as possible and that he expects the truth to be the one that will provide an answer to all of this.

Asked by a Patria journalist whether SBB has restored confidence in the judiciary, Đonlagić said that President Radončić said he has full confidence in the judiciary, that he believes in the institutions of BiH, and that gave a positive tone to this atmosphere.

- We expect that the truth is the only measure and that it will be shown in this court process. It is easiest to say that one does not believe in the institutions of this country, but then what will we believe in. We believe in this state, its institutions. The fact that we expressed doubts about the Prosecutor's Office and some parts of the Prosecutor's Office is something completely different. We also have the right to expect that the judicial part be objective and that the process be objective.

Regarding the announced referendum in the RS, the coalition has a clear stance.

- Everything that is not good for BiH is not good for us either, and we will strive and try to respond in the right way so that the citizens of BiH have a clearer perspective.
