Meeting of the SDA Club and Representatives of Veterans' and Victims' Associations: Stop the Misuse of Judicial Resources in the Fight Against Justice!

(Patria) - Today, a working meeting was held at the premises of the SDA Club of Deputies in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, at the initiative
of representatives of veterans' and victims' associations of the aggression against BiH.

The topic of the meeting was a list of demands, compiled by the aforementioned associations regarding all aspects of
the prosecution of war crimes and criminals.

Particular emphasis was placed on the inaction of the BiH Prosecutor's Office in prosecuting cases
from List A of the Hague Tribunal according to the rules of procedure of the Rome Statute. Great dissatisfaction was expressed with the fact that documented war crimes committed by the aggressor forces are not being prosecuted, while at the same time, defenders of BiH are being prosecuted and persecuted, even in cases where they have been repeatedly acquitted by international judicial bodies, as well as by foreign and domestic courts, such as the "Dobrovoljačka" case, stated the SDA Club.

The unanimous assessment is that this approach to the issue of war crimes abuses the personnel and all other resources of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, thereby practically allowing injustice to triumph over justice, as the State Strategy for the Prosecution of War Crimes is effectively being used to equate the aggressor against BiH with its defenders.

The SDA Club of Deputies in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, on this occasion as well, expressed its full readiness to support these completely justified demands of the veterans' and victims' associations of the aggression against BiH within its capacities and jurisdiction.

In this regard, the idea of the representatives of these associations to organize a united front of political and social actors with the aim of institutionally articulating measures and activities to stop the aforementioned abuses and manipulations in the work of judicial bodies was supported.
