
(Patria) - Deputy Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ivica Bošnjak met today in Sarajevo with the Commander of the European Union forces in BiH (EUFOR) Major General Florin-Marian Barbu and his deputy, Brigadier General Lorenzo Dal Mas.
The meeting was initiated by Deputy Minister Bošnjak in light of current security and political challenges. In addition to exchanging views on current issues of common interest, future cooperation was also discussed.
The need for joint action and continued improvement and preservation of a secure environment was particularly emphasized.
During the meeting, Major General Barbu informed Deputy Minister Bošnjak about EUFOR's activities, which has recently been reinforced with additional forces, indicating the European Union's clear commitment to preserving the stability and security of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
