Saša Magazinović: HDZ creates a problem, then asks for something in return to solve it

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Croatian National Assembly called on members of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina to support the Decision on the temporary financing of BiH institutions, which will be on the agenda of today's session of the Council of Ministers.

"Likewise, we call on representatives of the other two constituent peoples to proceed as soon as possible with the formation of a new Council of Ministers that would consolidate key segments of the functioning of the state-level government. It is precisely through such examples that care for the state, its functioning and the rule of law is demonstrated, and to prove through such an example that Bosnia and Herzegovina will not and must not be a hostage to anyone's political blackmail or deception of the public," the HNS stated.

The decision on the temporary financing of BiH institutions and the country's international obligations for the period July-September was postponed on June 27, and then on July 2, due to the absence of HDZ's Minister of Finance and Treasury Vjekoslav Bevanda, whose Ministry is the proposer of this agenda item, writes the Patria News Agency.

SDP representative in the State Parliament of BiH Saša Magazinović responded to the HNS statement: "You create a problem, solve it, and then ask for something in return. And so it goes for years."

From the OHR, they told Avaz that "there is no justification for blocking the work of state institutions by withholding the necessary financial resources." The OHR stated that the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina must be enabled to function normally and their financing cannot be used as a means of pressure for making other/unrelated decisions.
