Sarrazin: It is worrying that Vučić and the Serbian Government are not stopping Dodik's separatist moves

(Patria) - It seems that Russian President Vladimir Putin sees the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and his dangerous separatist moves in BiH as useful in his brutal aggressive war against Ukraine and Europe.

Dodik is probably the only person in Republika Srpska who believes he can profit from this alliance, stated Germany's Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin, in an interview with "Danas".

- Putin has not supported Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor Republika Srpska, with investments, jobs, or the prospect of EU membership.

And Dodik is not doing so with his actions either. On the contrary, he is dragging the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina further away from the EU. The German government most strongly condemns Dodik's separatist moves - says Sarrazin.

He emphasizes that he is very concerned that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and the Serbian Government are acting as if they are de facto supporting or at least not stopping Dodik's separatist moves in BiH.

- The declaration of the "all-Serbian assembly" last year already contained dangerous rhetoric and ideas that will not bring either Serbia or Bosnia and Herzegovina closer to the European Union - added Sarrazin.
