Sarajevo citizens to cheer for BiH's Dragons under the open sky

Besides the capital of BiH being painted in blue and yellow combinations on every corner, and decorated with flags of the participating countries of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, at the Square of Sarajevo Children in front of the BBI shopping center, intensive work is being done to set up the largest fan zone in Sarajevo, where public viewings of the 2014 World Cup matches will be organized, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Namely, the biggest football festival in the world starts tomorrow, June 12, in Brazil with the match between the host nation Brazil and Croatia. Although the first match of BiH's Dragons is against Argentina on June 15 at midnight, it is certain that numerous BiH citizens, as well as many tourists, will enjoy the matches under the open sky.

Preparations for BiH's historic moment, given that after 23 years our national team is for the first time among the 32 best teams in the world, seem to have started as early as October 16, just one day after the victory over Lithuania. Sarajevo caterers have prepared LCD televisions, projectors, and screens, and the extended working hours approved by the city authorities are just another reason not to miss this unique event after so many years, writes Patria.
