Sarajevo narrowly misses full spoils, Borac snatches draw in stoppage time

(Patria) - A postponed match from the second round of the BiH Premier League between Borac and Sarajevo was played today, ending 1:1 after ninety minutes.

The home team threatened first through Grahovac, who shot in the eighth minute, but there was no significant danger to Sarajevo's goal.

In the 17th minute, the first serious chance of the match, Jokić made a mistake, and Oliveira's shot was ultimately blocked. Minutes later, Grahovac crossed the ball, but it went over both Lukić and Čavić.

Five minutes later, Radović tried to set up Avramovski, but Čavić intervened at the last moment.

Sarajevo's most fervent fans, the popular Horde zla, only entered the City Stadium in the 23rd minute.

It was the 27th minute when Lukić passed back to Terzić, and his shot was blocked. Four minutes later, after a solo run, Čavić tried, but the ball went over the goal.

In the 35th minute, Nišić shot from 25 meters over Šahinović's goal. Šahinović had received a yellow card on the previous attack and will miss Sarajevo's next match.

In the 49th minute, Ziljkić crossed from the left, and the ball, after a block, almost fooled goalkeeper Mijatović. Čavić's shot six minutes later was blocked.

Another good chance in the match came in the 65th minute when Hasić shot from about twenty meters over the goal.

Two minutes later, after a great counter-attack, Anđušić set up Hasić, who scored to make it 0:1, leading to great celebrations from the visiting players and fans.

The Maroon team had a chance to seal the victory, but Mijatović saved Oliveira's one-on-one situation.

Two minutes later, Borac could have equalized; Herrera crossed, and Makarić shot poorly.

Borac had another great chance when Makarić shot after a set piece in the third minute of stoppage time, but Šahinović saved the ball off the goal line.

However, a minute later, Sarajevo's excellent goalkeeper had to pick the ball out of his net; Cortes shot, and Kvržić pounced on the rebound and scored to make it 1:1, which would ultimately prove to be the final score.
