
(Patria) - Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, working on clarifying and documenting yesterday's murder of a migrant in Džemala Bijedića street in Ilidža, have determined through investigation that the victim was an individual with initials Y.N. from Afghanistan.
"Officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, located and brought under control the suspects this late afternoon in the Dariva area, Stari Grad municipality.
Due to grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of murder, 20-year-old T.M. and 19-year-old A.M., both citizens of Afghanistan, were arrested and handed over to the detention facility of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
Police officers are intensively searching for a third person connected to the commission of this criminal offense, identified as Amir Tuatahe, born in 2002, also a citizen of Afghanistan," stated the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also released a photo of the person they are searching for.
"We ask anyone with any information about the wanted person to report to phone numbers 122, 033/206-666, 033/207-777, or the nearest police station," urged the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
