Sarajevo: Helicopter to be engaged for Trebević Cable Car service needs

(Patria) - Public Enterprise (JP) Sarajevo announced that a helicopter will be engaged for the service needs of the Trebević Cable Car, for the realization of the second phase of special service of the pulley batteries on pillars 4 and 5 of the cable car route, for the transport of dismantled and serviced parts.

It is planned that the helicopter will be engaged in the period from 04/07/2026 to 04/10/2026, during which transport, installation, and dismantling of pulley batteries will be carried out.

The engagement of the helicopter ensures efficient, safe, and timely execution of planned service activities in accordance with the recommendations of the equipment manufacturer and applicable technical standards.

"We inform the public and residents of the surrounding areas that the helicopter will use the plateau - heliodrome at Vidikovac for landing and take-off. The planned completion of the works is 04/20, when the cable car will be open to visitors," announced JP Sarajevo.
