144 diplomats leave Sarajevo, decision on flight from Stockholm to Sarajevo by 2 PM

(Patria) - An airplane with 144 passengers, mostly foreign diplomats from this and other countries currently residing in BiH, has departed from Sarajevo Airport for Sweden, confirmed by the BiH Border Police for Patria.

However, the Border Police stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs requested that about 70 BiH citizens from Sweden return to BiH on the same flight in the afternoon.

Now, the competent Ministry of Security is awaited to give the final green light for passengers to fly from Stockholm to Sarajevo.

Earlier, it was announced that 54 people would arrive, but that number has increased.

Minister Fahrudin Radončić is asking the crisis headquarters of the Federation and Canton Sarajevo to provide additional guarantees that passengers arriving from Sweden will be placed in complete quarantine.
As we learn, there should be no major problems, and the final decision on whether the flight from Sweden to Sarajevo will be realized at all will be known by 2 PM.
