Sarajevo celebrated a minimal victory in Posušje

(Patria) - Football Club Sarajevo tonight recorded a minimal victory over host Posušje at the Mokri Dolac stadium as part of the 14th round of the Premier League of BiH.

From the very beginning of the match, it was clear that there would not be much beautiful football, considering that the pitch at the stadium in Posušje was in a catastrophic condition even before it started.

The match started in that tone - already in the fifth minute, Vrgoč landed badly after a jump and injured his arm, forcing him to leave the game immediately. He was replaced by Bešlić.

In the 12th minute, we saw the first real chance of the match. Erick from the home team shot from about 25 meters, but Šahinović saved and deflected the ball to Mandić, who was in an offside position.

In the 18th minute, a similar situation occurred. Erick shot again from a distance, this time from a free kick, but the ball went wide of the goal.

Only in the 21st minute did we see the first serious attempt from the visitors. They created an action on the right side, Hasić crossed, but the home goalkeeper safely collected the ball.

The hosts continued with more dominant play, but after a questionable foul about 25 meters from their goal, the visitors took the lead with a goal from Mustafić from a free kick.

The home team protested, but without success. This only contributed to increased tension in the remainder of the half, writes SCsport.ba.

The home team's players reacted very heatedly to every questionable decision by Sabrija Topalović. This was also the case two minutes after the visitors' leading goal.

Penaranda made a fierce tackle on a Posušje player, but only received a yellow card.

The home team did not give up. In the 34th minute, Boban headed the ball, but it hit the post, and two minutes later, Kamenar shot over the goal.

The visitors also played more openly after taking the lead. In the 38th minute, Beganović's good cross was not met by anyone in front of the home goal, and a similar situation occurred five minutes later.

In the very final moments of the first half, specifically in the 44th minute, Begić passed to Erick, who from ten meters missed the goal, the ball rebounded to Marić, but he shot wide.

Even after three minutes of added time, we did not see much, and the teams went into halftime with a minimal lead for Sarajevo.

The second half started more calmly in terms of attempts from both teams, but the tension due to Sabrija Topalović's poor refereeing continued.

The home players complained more, but the main referee did not pay much attention to their protests.

In the 50th minute, we record the first chance of the second half. Marić headed over the goal after a corner for the home team.

In the 56th minute, the visitors had their first chance of the second half, but Mustafić shot poorly from about ten meters from the home goal.

Apart from substitutions in the teams, the rest of the match did not bring anything noteworthy. Play was mostly between the two penalty areas.

Sarajevo's main goal was to preserve their lead, while the home team clearly threw all their efforts into attack with their substitutions.

In the 74th minute, we record a good attempt from the home team. Kamenar headed the ball after Erick's free-kick cross, but Šahinović managed to save the shot.

The same player tried from about 16 meters in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the goal.

In the 88th minute, Čataković headed the ball, but it went over the goal. Only in added time did we see a more serious attempt from Posušje's initiative.

In the 94th minute, Brković crossed from a free kick, but Sarajevo's defense resolved the situation without any problems.
