An international seminar for judokas organized by the ON 1 sports team is being held today at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education (FASTO) in Sarajevo, Patria reports.
In addition to local judokas, guests from Croatia have also arrived for the seminar. Among them is Croatian coach Josip Šančić. The entire seminar is led by judo coach from Japan, Shun Kondo.
From the sports organization ON 1, they explain that today's seminar is another effort to improve Bosnian-Herzegovinian judo to world levels. And that, they explain, can only be achieved through cooperation with athletes from other countries and the adoption of modern knowledge.
- We strive to be a driver of change, and an example to others of how judo in Bosnia and Herzegovina is improved and developed. We are pleased that numerous clubs in the country are beginning to follow our example. Because that is one of our main goals, to inspire others– said Karim Hebib, president of the ON 1 sports organization. He thanked the guests from Croatia and Japan, who came to support this team and judo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Patria reports.
