(Patria) - The capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina was today the host of the "Sarajevo Fighting Challenge" combat event.
This excellent sports event, organized by the MMA Fighter Academy, was held in the "Srce" hall in Buća Potok, and fighters from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, and Tajikistan participated.
- This is the third amateur MMA event we have organized, and we are more than satisfied. "Sarajevo Fighting Challenge" brought together fighters from the region, and the audience could enjoy top-notch fights. Congratulations to all participants, and especially to our guys from the club. Our Tarik Tošić and Edin Smailhodžić won gold medals, and Mirnes Fazlić won a silver medal – say the organizing committee of "Sarajevo Fighting Challenge".
As the first organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina dedicated exclusively to amateur MMA sport, its goal is to promote and expand this type of sport throughout the country.
- Today's combat event showed that there is a large number of fighters, as well as an audience that wants to follow the fights. Therefore, the fourth combat event must be held in a larger hall and the entire organization at a higher level. Behind the event is a team of young people for whom the support of sponsors NLB Bank, ASA Bank, Admiral, security agency "BH Sigurnost", BH Telecom, and the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Sarajevo Canton means a lot. MMA is in great expansion in BiH. It is a modern combat sport that is a powerful combination of many fighting styles (boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo). We hope that similar events will be organized throughout BiH – say the organizing committee of "Sarajevo Fighting Challenge".
