(Patria) - Vodovod i kanalizacija Sarajevo, as well as Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine, have issued statements stating that there will be interruptions in water supply in parts of the city today, but also interruptions or limitations in electricity distribution.

The official statement from Vodovod i kanalizacija states that normalization is not expected until late evening hours.

“Thursday works on connecting the newly laid DN 700 pipeline: In parts of the city, there will be a reduction in pressure or interruption of water supply. On Thursday, 08.08.2024, it is planned to carry out works on connecting the newly laid DN 700 Bačevo-Alipašin most pressure pipeline in Ilidža near the Bulevar settlement.

These are works being carried out as part of the XIII transversal construction project. From early morning hours, there will be a multi-hour interruption or reduced pressure in water supply in the settlements of: Ciglane, naselje Park, Koševo, Jezero, Bare, Šip, Betanija, Breka, Stara Breka, Bjelave, Mejtaš, Džidžikovac, Podhrastovi, Grdonj, Sedrenik, Koševsko brdo, Kobilja Glava, Velešići, Gornji Velešići, Pofalići, Hum brdo, Dumače, Ugorsko, Hotonj, Barica, Krše, Dreskovača, Orahov brijeg, Kromolj, naselje Blekin potok, Slatina, Boljakov potok, Buća potok, Vitkovac, Sokolje, Zabrđe, Briješće brdo.

Normalization of water supply is expected in the late evening hours.

Regarding interruptions in electricity supply, they mostly concern the Ilidža area today.

From 7 AM to 1 PM, there will be an interruption in Fridriha Kacera, Sastavci, Seada Sinanovića, and Terovića streets.

From 7 AM to 3 PM, there will be an interruption in 6. aprila, Derviš Paše Bajezidagića, Dobrinjska, dr. Halid Bega Hrasnice, Džemala Bijedića, Ejuba Sarajkića, Generala Izeta Nanića, Hrasnica, Hrasnička, Hrasnička cesta, Igmanskih bataljona, Igmanskog partizanskog bataljona, Izeta Musića, Kurta Schorka, Latička, Put Famosa, Stari Drum, Stup, Stupska, Stupska Petlja, Trg 6. aprila, Trg branilaca Hrasnice, Zdenka Markulja, and Školska streets.

From 8 AM to 2 PM, there will be an interruption in Blažuj, Blažujski Drum, Četvrte viteške brigade, Konaci, Lužansko Polje, Plandište, and Vreoca streets.

Works are also announced in Vogošća, specifically at the locations Branilaca Hotonja, Donji Hotonj, Donji Hotonj I, Mitra Šućura, and Ramiza Alića. These works are announced from 8 PM to 10 PM.

Works on the electricity distribution network will also be carried out in the Centar municipality from 7 AM to 10 AM in the streets of Branilaca Sarajeva, Hamze Hume, Kulovića, Maršala Tita, Mis Irbina, Radićeva, Reisa Džemaludina Čauševića, Skenderija, and Crna Rijeka.

Works are also planned in Novi Grad from 7 AM to 2 PM in the streets of Viteška, Safeta Ahmetspahića, Profesora dr. Ramiza Velića, Numan Paše Ćuprilića, Brezanska, 8. mart, and Braće Čamdžić.
