Cooperation with the Association: Milkos's Ella brand is the official water of BiH basketball players

The Basketball Association of BiH has a new sponsor, the Ella water produced by the company Milkos, and this is the first time the Association has an official water, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

The director of the company Milkos, Adin Fakić, told the Patria agency that they support sports collectives in BiH within their capabilities.

- We supported the Basketball Association of BiH, whose selections have made us happy so many times, especially the cadet national team which won gold at the European Championship last year. We wanted to support the KS BiH in this positive atmosphere that has been created, as well as support the young national selections. We work with the best intentions, and the well-being and development of these children are important – said Fakić.

Fakić emphasized that as a domestic company, they understand the liquidity problems that the Basketball Association of BiH, which lacks sufficient support and assistance from the state, generally faces.

Ella water has been on the market for two years, and besides water, they also produce iced teas in aronia, maracuja, and pineapple flavors.

- The plan is to continue with the further development of the brands. The water is drawn from a spring at the foot of Mount Igman at a depth of 250 meters. Water from these depths passes through a large number of natural filters, resulting in very high-quality water with a balanced physical-chemical and mineral composition, which we also use in the production of other Milkos products – said Fakić.

Dubravko Barbarić, Secretary General of the Basketball Association of BiH, told Patria that he is pleased that it is a domestic water producer.

- I call on all domestic companies to be socially responsible, like the company Milkos and their brand Ella, and to support the national teams of BiH, as they are our best ambassadors in the world – emphasized Barbarić.

Barbarić confirmed that everything is ready regarding the departure of the cadet basketball national team of BiH to the World Championship in Spain.

- Regarding the cadets and three other youth selections, everything is ready and in absolute order, tickets have been bought and participation fees paid, and now we are collecting funds for the other selections. The cadets had the best preparations so far, and other national teams can expect the same.

The Secretary General of the Association emphasized that they hope the state will participate at least in the form it did last year, although it should be a larger amount.

- No association can be dependent on sponsors, whether they are public or private companies.
