(Patria) - Vehicle traffic is increased in city centers and on roads throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particularly long waits at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at most border crossings, especially in the north of our country.
"We highlight the border crossings: Gradina, Gradiška, Orašje, Brčko, Svilaj, Brod, Hadžin Potok, Kostajnica, Kozarska Dubica, Izačić and Velika Kladuša. At other border crossings, passenger vehicles do not wait longer than 30 minutes.
Congestion has also been recorded on most roads leading to current winter excursion sites.
Due to low temperatures, we draw attention to black ice, especially on sections in higher areas where there is still residual snow in places, and in lower areas on bridges, viaducts and tunnel approaches. We appeal to drivers to be careful and to comply with all traffic regulations. Do not set off on the road without appropriate winter equipment.
Traffic for heavy goods vehicles is still banned on the roads:
- Bosanski Petrovac-Drvar-Bosansko Grahovo,
- Glamoč-Mlinište and
- Drvar-Glamoč.
On the roads Kotor Varoš-Teslić (Borja) and Karanovac-Kneževo, traffic is very difficult.
Over the mountain pass Borova glava (Šuica-Livno), we warn of frequent appearances of wild horses on the roadway.
On the occasion of the New Year holiday, the transport of explosive materials is banned in Bosnia and Herzegovina until midnight tonight," they announced from BIHAMK.
