76-year-old from Laktaši sanctioned for driving wrong way on Republika Srpska motorway

(Patria) - Police have identified a driver with initials R.M. from Laktaši who drove in the wrong direction on the "9 January" motorway.

Nezavisne novine unofficially learns that it is a seventy-six-year-old man.

Members of the Doboj Traffic Safety Police Station identified and sanctioned the person with initials R.M. from Laktaši today around 3:30 PM.

"The driver was operating a passenger vehicle of the Opel brand on the '9 January' motorway and on that occasion was moving along the lane intended for traffic from the opposite direction.

He was issued a misdemeanour order in accordance with Article 235 of the Law on the Basics of Traffic Safety on Roads in BiH," the Doboj Police Administration stated.
