Landslide repairs and rockfalls are hindering traffic

According to information from the BiHAMK Information Center, traffic this morning is taking place on predominantly wet or damp roads, writes the Patria News Agency.

On the M-14.1 highway Bijeljina-Šepak near Glavičice, landslide repair work is underway, which will cause temporary traffic stoppages today (02.04.) between 08:00 and 15:00. Landslide repair work is also being carried out on the regional road Hadžići-Igman (Crvene stijene location), where traffic is also temporarily stopped between 08:00 and 16:00.

We draw attention to frequent earth or rockfalls onto the roadway, and we particularly highlight the following routes: Tuzla-Bijeljina, Bugojno-Novi Travnik, Sarajevo-Foča, Jajce-Banja Luka, and Brod na Drini-GP Hum.

Due to damage repair work on the M-18 highway on the Brod na Drini-GP Hum section, traffic is stopped several times a day for up to 30 minutes.

On the A1 highway, traffic is proceeding on a predominantly wet road, without extraordinary restrictions.

Drivers are advised to drive with maximum caution, regardless of weather and traffic conditions, and to maintain a safe distance between vehicles. We remind you that winter equipment is legally mandatory until 15.04.

There is increased vehicle traffic at border crossings, but no long delays.
