Dream of Euro 2016 continues: With a 3:2 victory over Cyprus, the Dragons go to the play-offs

The last qualifying match for Euro 2016, Cyprus - Bosnia and Herzegovina, ended with a score of 2:3, and Bosnia and Herzegovina managed to secure a play-off spot, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria. The draw for the play-off pairs for Euro 2016 will be held on Sunday, October 18 at 11:00 AM, and the play-off matches will be played between November 12 and 17. Possible opponents are Slovenia, Ireland, Hungary, and Norway. According to initial reactions, the Dragons would most prefer Slovenia, both because of fan support and proximity, as it would avoid exhausting travel.

The second half brought the lead for Bosnia and Herzegovina with a goal by Milan Đurić, who also scored against Wales. Đurić replaced Zukanović. The stand with our fans exploded; everyone is on their feet celebrating the magnificent goal of the young footballer.

In the 44th minute, Haris Medunjanin scored the equalizer to make it 2:2, having also scored the goal in the 13th minute.

Towards the end of the first half, Cyprus took a 2:1 lead.

In the 31st minute, the Cypriots scored a goal to level the score at 1:1.

In the decisive qualifying match for Euro 2016, the players selected by Mehmed Baždarević took the lead in the 13th minute with a goal by Haris Medunjanin, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The Dragons are fighting excellently against the temperamental Cypriots, and from the stands they have the support of several hundred Bosnian fans who have come from various parts of the world.

Baždarević decided on the starting lineup tonight: Begović, Spahić, Šunjić, Zukanović, Mujdža, Vranješ, Medunjanin, Pjanić, Višća, Lulić, Ibišević. Also entering the game were Milan Đurić, Ermin Bičakčić, and Sejad Salihović.

Edin Džeko is on the bench, and whether Baždarević will bring him into the game is still unknown.
