Salkić encourages Bosniaks in RS: Don't give up on your homes, it's the best response to Dodik's threats of dividing BiH

(Patria) - MP in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NSRS) Ramiz Salkić (SDA) addressed his Facebook followers, stating that he has been inundated with questions and calls regarding the current security and political situation, which is a consequence of the secessionist aspirations, denial of genocide, and glorification of war criminals by the RS authorities, led by Milorad Dodik.

"I share the concern with all of you regarding the ultimate intentions and goals of those who openly call for the division of Bosnia and Herzegovina and whose statements incite hatred towards Bosniaks, endangering peace and stability.

It is our obligation to inform the competent state institutions about all suspicious movements and developments that may be aimed at endangering peace, resulting from the political statements and decisions of the authorities of this entity.

We must all be aware of the environment in which we live after returning and the unwillingness of the RS entity authorities to accept Bosniaks as equal citizens, thereby creating conditions for us to leave our homes again as a consequence of systemic discrimination and a sense of insecurity.

We are in a new phase of a special war against Bosniaks, in which fear is currently being spread at a political rhetorical level, with the aim of making us give up on our homes and our homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our response should be our intensified fight for our rights, our homes, and our homeland.

All those who are concerned and who were expelled from this entity, as a response to such actions by the entity authorities, should have their place of residence registered at their pre-exile addresses. Then Dodik would not be able to claim that this is a Serbian entity, regardless of its current name.

All those who care about our safety and are not from this entity should encourage this process and own property here, thereby proving their patriotism and commitment to their homeland. This would be the right path and the right response to Dodik's separatism, sowing fear, humiliating Bosniaks, and threatening the division of BiH.

Our response is not and must not be leaving our homes, extra-institutional action, or radicalization, even at a rhetorical level, because that is precisely the goal of the separatists, to portray us and them as the same, but we were not and will not be, as proven before domestic and international courts.

Therefore, more than ever, let us turn to our homes and use the upcoming days to arrange our homes, invite and welcome our friends there, and show Dodik and his like-minded people that this was, is, and will be Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I was taught that acquired education and land are never burned, plundered, or destroyed by any war. Let us dedicate ourselves to these goals in the future," Salkić stated.
