Salkić responds to Dodik: We don't need a second half, but equal rights and respect for the Constitution

(Patrai) - Ramiz Salkić, a deputy in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, commented on the statements made by the president of that entity, Milorad Dodik, for "Glas Srpske", in which he, among other things, said that it is "best for Bosniaks to accept dialogue with the authorities in RS", i.e. with him and the ruling SNSD.

- Does this threat mean that it is better for Bosniaks to accept apartheid, discrimination, and life without status rights, or will something worse await us in the future? The substitution of theses that is regularly attempted will not be able to change the real facts and the truth, although there are few people who are willing to talk about it today. The authorities of the BiH entity RS, based on the matrix and ideas from the nineties of the last century, are working on the division of Bosnia and Herzegovina, realizing the program of an impossible state - stated Salkić.

In the mentioned interview, Dodik said that "Bosniaks, Muslims, want some kind of second half", and that on the other hand "they are not interested in it".

- We are not interested in Sarajevo, nor Tuzla, nor anything in FBiH. They show that they are interested in everything in RS. For me, FBiH has long been abroad - said Dodik, among other things.

Salkić stated that it is actually "they (the authorities in RS, author's note) who have been creating problems in the functioning of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina all these years, and not, as they want to present it, that the state is creating problems for them".

- They are the ones who have been discriminating against and usurping the rights of Bosniaks all these years since the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, and it is not Bosniaks, as they want to present it, who are a threat to the entity. Their ambition to radicalize Bosniaks through discrimination and thereby try to justify their past and future actions has proven to be a failure and unsuccessful. Bosniaks are here in their homes with the desire to live in peace and have equal rights with all other citizens - stated Salkić.

He added that "those who glorify those convicted of genocide, those who deny court rulings and the committed genocide against Bosniaks and base their political platform on it, ultimately cause the greatest damage to the Serb people".

- Dodik and his followers advocate and implement separatist activities aimed at overthrowing the Dayton Peace Agreement, the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and its division, which is at the foundation of the declaration of the All-Serb Assembly adopted by the NSRS.

Bosniaks do not need any second half - we need a legal state, respect for the Constitution, respect and implementation of court rulings, equal rights and equal opportunities in accordance with the Constitution. The story about the second half is a cheap mask and an attempt to divert attention from the separatist activities advocated and implemented by the authorities of the BiH entity RS - concluded Salkić.
