Salkić: Let the Prosecutor's Office inform the public about the fate of the criminal complaint from January 2024.

(Patria) - Ramiz Salkić, MP in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, member of the Presidency and Main Board of SDA, publicly called on the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to inform the public about the status of the criminal complaint, submitted on January 18, 2024, at the registry office of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"To this day, as the complainant, nor the public, have I received any information from the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the fate of this complaint.

The declaration of the Serbian Assembly is proof of the commitment of the authorities in Serbia and the authorities in the Republika Srpska entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina to continue violating the Dayton Peace Agreement by opposing the implementation of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which are final and binding under the Constitution of BiH", stated Salkić.

He pointed out that the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, at its session held on November 27, 2024, with its conclusion, formed a committee of 29 members to celebrate the so-called Day of Republika Srpska, thus institutionally continuing to oppose previous decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"In forming this committee, the National Assembly of Republika Srpska refers to the declaration of the Serbian Assembly, which in point 29 encourages the Republika Srpska entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina to continue celebrating January 9 as the Day of Republika Srpska, despite the existing decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina", stated Salkić, adding that the declaration of the Serbian Assembly is proof of the commitment of the authorities in Serbia and the authorities in the Republika Srpska entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina to continue violating the Dayton Peace Agreement by opposing the implementation of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which are final and binding under the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is expected, Salkić continues, that the Government of Republika Srpska will make a decision in the coming days that January 9 is the Day of Republika Srpska and that it is a holiday and a non-working day in the Republika Srpska entity, which is not in accordance with the law and the decision of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
