Šaljić: Yutelovci again on Igman - the five-pointed star turned the JNA into the VRS which committed genocide against Bosniaks!

(Patria) - Today is the anniversary of the so-called Igman March, the five-pointed star, SMB - uniforms, flags and insignia of the Yugoslav People's Army. Thousands of people on Igman. For Yugo-nostalgics from Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, I know your pleasure was spoiled by the flags with lilies," states this in a reaction by Jasmin Šaljić, a representative of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton, regarding today's commemoration of the anniversary of the Igman March.

He adds that the Igman March (1942) was actually more of a pursuit of partisan units from Rudo all the way to Foča.

"A local resident who was alive until recently testified that they were helped on Igman by Chetniks, who rubbed their frostbitten hands and feet with snow, because at that time they were still formally together. That is, they had not yet split," Šaljić points out and adds: "History repeats itself!".

As he says, with such uniforms, symbols, flags and the five-pointed star at the forefront, months before the aggression on our country, the JNA carried out a planned operation to seize the weapons depots of the Territorial Defense of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"After they confiscated and emptied the warehouses of the TO RBiH, in the same operation they occupied all important positions and hills around Sarajevo, and other cities across BiH. Mostly where Bosniaks and Croats were the majority! They dug trenches and brought out heavy weapons, cannons, tanks and mortars, all under the pretext of calming the public and especially the disarmed Bosniaks, claiming it was about a (buffer zone) to supposedly prevent possible conflicts. This was blessed by the then Yutelovci and random passersby who were also on Igman today," said the SBiH representative in the KS Assembly.

Šaljić notes that with these caps, symbols, flags and the five-pointed star at the forefront, they overnight created the Army of Republika Srpska.

"They created the VRS in a way that they ceded to them the previously dug and fortified trenches with the complete weaponry of the JNA, for which we all paid taxes for almost 50 years. With the ceded weaponry, members of the Army of Republika Srpska and various Chetnik formations held Sarajevo and other cities under siege for years, with daily destruction and killing of innocent people in search of food and firewood. With this weaponry, genocide was also committed against Bosniaks in BiH."
