Šaljić: Premier Uk, as the most responsible person in the Canton of Sarajevo, must have an answer to the terrorist act of tearing down the state flag

(Patria) - We have taken no action regarding the tearing down of the flag on Jahorina. This was the response of the Premier of the Sarajevo Canton, Nihad Uk, to a journalist's question about this case.

"The Premier's response, to the astonishment of those present and the entire public that followed the address, was short and clear!?
We have taken no action regarding the tearing down of the state flag on Jahorina! Instead of telling fellow citizens, as the most responsible official in the Sarajevo Canton, that it is in procedure, that the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton is working on documenting and collecting data," stated in a comment the representative of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton, Jasmin Šaljić.

He adds that they expect a swift outcome and prosecution of those responsible for this vandalistic and terrorist act.

"The response of any premier of any state, at any level of government, should be meaningful and focused on solving the problem," concluded Šaljić.
