Science Project Fair: Over 100 Innovations Competing for Burch University Award

The science project fair for high school students from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, "Burch Olympiad 2015", is concluding today at the International Burch University, reports the Patria News Agency.

The best projects will be awarded valuable prizes.

"Burch Olympiad 2015" is a unique project in Bosnia and Herzegovina designed with the aim of gathering high school students and encouraging them to find innovative solutions for the benefit of society.

The competition represents Burch University's contribution to encouraging young people to freely present their ideas, and the best participants will be rewarded.
Burch University stated that their goal is to encourage young people to think about problems in their micro-environment and to offer ideas and solutions from their own perspective using available resources. 

High school students from all over the country, along with their teachers, can present their original projects in one of four categories: "Engineering", "Internet Design", "Environment", and "I Have an Idea".

This year, a special category has been included in the competition – "Short Video".

Last year's Burch Olympiad received as many as 175 projects, of which 103 were rated as the highest quality. This year too, a large number of projects were submitted to the competition, but the organizers included 105 projects in the selection, reports NAP.
