(Patria) - Muhamed Šahinović becomes the goalkeeper of Polish club Rakow, announced FK Sarajevo.
FK Sarajevo remains at the top of the list of regional clubs for career development and successful transfers of young Bosnian goalkeepers to European clubs. With the realization of this transfer, the Club will receive a million-dollar amount through a fixed fee and bonuses, as well as a significant percentage of a future transfer.
Šahinović will join his new club at the end of the half-season.
„This transfer is a win-win for both clubs as well as Šahinović. This is the result of effective scouting, an excellent training process, and a wide network and connections with clubs on a global level. We continue on this path in the future with the aim of constantly raising standards and the bar of success," said sports director Senijad Ibričić.
"On this occasion, we thank all Club employees who contributed to Šahinović's success, and we wish Muhamed much luck in the continuation of his career," the statement reads.
We remind you, Sarajevo has already sold one goalkeeper to Rakow, namely Vladan Kovačević, who is now one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe.
