(Patria) - It is now official - the president of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović will be the candidate for the BiH Presidency member.
This was decided at today's regular session of the SDA Presidency in Sarajevo, it was confirmed for Faktor.
Izetbegović had previously received unanimous support from the party's cantonal committees.
Yesterday, Izetbegović confirmed that he would run for the BiH Presidency.
He emphasized that he had given enough time for the party bodies to consider the situation and support the candidate they consider to be the best choice.
Confident in an election victory, he said he expects voters to place their trust in him, rather than in candidates who have officially announced their candidacies so far - Semir Efendić and Denis Bećirović.
