Handball Dragons Measure Strength with Croatia Ahead of EP

(Patria) - The handball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is in Poreč as part of the second phase of preparations for the European Championship, and Bilal Šuman's chosen players will play a control match against Croatia today. BiH was defeated by the national team of Qatar 27:30, and today's match with Croatia will be broadcast live at 16:50 on Croatian RTL. 

Šuman will finalize the list of 18 players he is taking to the European Championship before heading to Norway on January 8. 

During the first phase of preparations, the BiH team also played two control matches against Saudi Arabia and the Premier League of BiH selection.

BiH will play in group "D" at the European Championship with Norway, Portugal, and France. The top two teams from each of the six groups will advance to the second round.

At the opening of the competition, the BiH team will face the host and world vice-champion Norway on January 10 at 20:30. Then, on January 12, a duel with Portugal follows at 16:00, and two days later with France at 18:15. All matches of group "D" will be played in Trondheim.
