Handball national team also lost to Switzerland by 18 goals

(Patria) - The handball national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina played their second match at the Yellow Cup tonight and suffered another defeat against hosts Switzerland 21:39.

The match started with two goals from Laube. Switzerland took a 2:0 lead, and apart from 0:0 at the start of the match, our team did not have a tied score on the scoreboard again.

We managed to keep up with the score until the eighth minute. One of our players was sent off then, Schmidt used it to score for 5:2, and the lead of the home team mostly just grew from then on.

We conceded many easy goals by the end of the first half. Switzerland took advantage of every situation, and the lead grew.

We went into halftime with the score 18:14 for the hosts. In the second half, Switzerland only increased their lead.

We opened the second half with a goal from Panić, but then Switzerland went on a 4:0 run. Smajlagić's timeout did not change anything.

Switzerland only increased their lead until the end of the match. In the last ten minutes, the hosts also tried out some players with less playing time, but they proved themselves to the coach and only increased their national team's lead.

Thanks to Marko Panić, who scored as many as 10 goals tonight, this defeat was not even more convincing.

The Yellow Cup concludes tomorrow. Our team plays against Romania, who defeated Argentina today. To recall, the handball national team played their first match against Argentina and lost 32:23.
