Bosnia and Herzegovina handball team travels to Macedonia on January 2

The Bosnia and Herzegovina handball team will travel to Skopje on January 2 next year, where they will play three friendly matches until January 7. The opponent is the host team of Macedonia (January 3, 4, and 5), which is preparing for the World Championship in France. Two matches against the Macedonians will be closed-door, Patria reports.

After Macedonia, the players selected by coach Bilal Šuman will go to Belgrade on January 7, where two more control matches await them, against Saudi Arabia on the 8th (6:30 PM) and Bahrain on January 9 (11:00 AM).

After the match against Bahrain, a return flight from Belgrade is planned in the afternoon, and the BiH team will spend another seven days in preparations at their old base – the Hills hotel in Ilidža. Bilal Šuman, the coach of the BiH handball team, said they have plenty of time at their disposal.

- In addition to training and analysis, we will have five quality checks. We will also see some new players in action, and those who haven't had much playing time in previous matches will get a chance. We will work on many things, all with the goal of being as well-prepared as possible for the upcoming qualification matches against Finland in May next year. We won't stop here, as we will gather once more in April, which will be the general preparation for those two very important matches for us – he said.

Preparations for the BiH team started today, and the players will have a break for the New Year, with a new gathering planned for January 2, when they will travel by bus to Skopje.
