Bosnia and Herzegovina handball players defeated by Sweden

(Patria) - The handball national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina opened their participation in the European Championship in Germany with a defeat against favored Sweden. We lost with a score of 29:20, but the handball players showed a brave performance against the current European champions.

In one part of the second half, BiH even outplayed Sweden, but Sweden is far ahead of us in quality, they used mistakes at the end of the halves and increased their lead.

The score at the end of the first half was 14:7 for Sweden.

A large number of BiH fans were also present in the SAP Arena in Mannheim, who cheered on Irfan Smajlagić's team for all 60 minutes.

BiH plays its next match on January 13 against the Netherlands, and then on January 15 against Georgia.

This is our team's third appearance at the EHF EURO, while Sweden, the current European champion, is playing for the 15th time.
