SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The handball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will not have a chance to fight for a spot at the World Handball Championship. The European Handball Federation (EHF) decided today at a videoconference that the pre-play-off matches, in which Bosnia and Herzegovina was supposed to play against Romania, and the play-offs, cannot be held due to the coronavirus situation.
Thus, the 13 best-ranked teams from the previous European Championship, as well as Denmark as the defending champion, will go to the WC.
