(Patria) - The Management Board of Radio-Television of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina called on the BHRT Management to finally sign the only legally grounded Agreement on the distribution of the RTV fee, which had successfully existed for all for the past six years.
"The recent unfortunate events with the shutdown of the RTV FBiH signal have shown how much damage can be caused by unilateral illegal actions.
We believe that the BHRT Management has learned that all relations can only be resolved through cooperation, respect and trust, but solely on the basis of existing legal regulations, which are completely precise when it comes to the distribution of the RTV fee.
Signing the legally grounded agreements on the distribution of the RTV fee would ensure the uninterrupted production and broadcasting of program content for both houses. At the same time, it would ensure regular payment of salaries to workers of both BHRT and RTV FBiH, as was the case in all previous years.
RTV FBiH, immediately upon signing the Agreement on the distribution of the RTV fee, would proceed with regular payment of technical services, which it had done for the previous 20 years, and during that period transferred more than 100 million marks to BHRT's account on this basis.
Along with regular payments for current services, by the end of the year, FTV would partially settle the debts for technical services that arose in the period from January 1, 2024, when BHRT unilaterally terminated the RTV fee agreement.
We call on you, and it is high time that we finally replace shutdown with the joint construction of both our houses," stated the Management Board of Radio-Television of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
